The challenge of the Architecto puzzle box
To open this box, you will have to perform 116 movements, which is a real challenge!
And this is the key word of this mechanical puzzle like no other, the CHALLENGE taken up by (visible on YouTube):

If you're up for it, you'll be impressed with the level of complexity this enigmatic cube demanded.
The impossible is also what inspired Architecto.
Moreover, this creation took its inspiration from the works of Maurits Cornelis Escher, a painter who had as his credo the combinations of the impossible and the exploration of the infinite. This secret box represents with meticulousness and finesse an illuminated and enigmatic city in which people live in multiple dimensions next to each other, but never meet. It's also a way to wink at the work "relativity", especially with the 3 endless staircases.
You will take as much pleasure in solving the enigma as in diving into the universe of this multidimensional city.
Wooden mechanical puzzle Architecto, an architectural gem
1 year of work, that's what it took our team to model this jewel in poplar plywood!
And for good reason, this puzzle box is a very complex work which hides a lot of details and which is designed on the basis of a composition with an overflowing imagination. That's why we decided to create it in a limited series. Therefore, only 44 pieces are produced.
Architecto is also equipped with lighting.

As you will have understood, Architecto is the most complex and daring piece of the NKD Puzzle shop. Therefore, its puzzle solving difficulty is rated at 5 out of 5.
For this, we recommend it only to adults and more precisely to people who are already experienced.

Hello,
I'm planning to assemble Architecto and Mecanigma soon. I saw in the manual that at some point there is the application of the varnish.
I was wondering if varnishing is optional or required/highly recommended.

Hello, in response to your question about assembling Architecto and Mecanigma: the application of varnish mentioned in the manual is often recommended to protect the surface of the pieces and to give your project a finished and professional appearance. That said, applying varnish can be considered optional depending on the result you want to achieve and the environment in which the object will be displayed. If the pieces will be subject to a lot of handling or exposed to elements that could damage or soil them, varnish can provide an additional protective layer. However, if you prefer the natural look of the material or have environmental concerns regarding the use of chemicals, you might decide not to apply varnish. In summary, although varnish is recommended for durability and aesthetics, it ultimately comes down to your personal preference and the needs of your project.

Howdy, I need a little advice.
I have a wonderful time putting together the Puzzle box. The last step of sliding the drawer in it clicked right in. As I am trying to open it again I am stuck. I am not able to slide assembly piece #G207 which will release G230. Is there something I am missing? Maybe a hint of where to look? Will these two slides prevent the drawer from opening? Je suis intéressé par le kit de construction de la puzzle box architecto et je voulais savoir s'il faut prévoir du matériel en plus (vernis pour le bois, matériel de soudure)

Effectivement, nous ne fournissons pas de vernis, car le rendu final dépend des préférences de l'utilisateur (vernis mat ou brillant par exemple).
De même, le montage nécessite quelques petites opérations de soudure pour l'électronique. The instruction has very little text and everything is translated into English.
The limited series only concerns boxes assembled by us. The kits are not numbered.
If you damage parts during assembly our after-sales service will send you what you need to complete your assembly.
